Andrea is the founder of dAWG (dat Arlington Writers Group), a free monthly workshop
for new writers. She has volunteered on the Letter-Writing Team of Soldiers'Angels to help
deployed soldiers in Afghanistan, and is a supporter of Voices from Inside (VFI), a nonprofit
organization that helps incarcerated women heal through writing.
